ANAESTHESIA AND OPERATION THEATRE TECHNOLOGY (B. AOTT)
At OSPMC, we offer four-year Bachelor Course of ANAESTHESIA AND OPERATION THEATRE TECHNOLOGY (B. AOTT). The course prepares the students with all the skills to handle the challenges inside the operation theatre.
During the four years of the program, the students go on a step-by-step journey of developing knowledge and talents to work as an operation theatre technician. The knowledge about the OT technology, management and techniques and the training help the students to start working immediately after completing the course.
AOTT (Anaesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology)
The AOTT Course is a 4-year long comprehensive course where the students get to learn everything about how a technician is supposed to work and support the Doctor during a surgery. The course prepares you to face any challenges and critical situation in the OT.
Eligibility Requirement for AOTT:
Student must have passed +2 or equivalent with PCB / PCM with at least 50% marks. Admission will be on the basis of merit of +2.
Age Criteria:
He/She has completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31 December of the year of his/her admission to the first year.
What is in the degree course?
During the 4-year bachelor degree course, you will be trained to become an efficient lab technician by making you familiar with the environment in the Operation Theatre. Your skills will be groomed to practice in the high-tech mechanized environment.
Career opportunities after the degree course:
You will be eligible to join any hospital as assistants of professional doctors. You would be able to apply at private and public hospitals.
